Discover the Paul Millefeuille collection and Win a Trip to Lyon, a Fête des Lumières
Paul bakeries launch Millefeuille Collection, a range with six new assortments of fruity and savory cakes that can be found exclusively in Paul bakeries. Millefeuille fans can taste a variety of unique recipes, especially appetizing combinations, prepared for this collection. In addition to these new products, Paul also announces a special contest: for every Millefeuille bought, customers get the chance to win a two-day trip to the "Fête des Lumièresˮ in Lyon, France, which will take place on December 5-8, 2015.
Millefeuile is one of the most famous French desserts in the world. It is prepared from a succession of aerated and crispy puff pastry spread, blended with "crème à mille feuille /patissière" with various fruit flavors or coffee grounds.
The Millefeuille Collection includes six unique assortments, prepared after Paul's original recipes: Millefeuille Amande Abricot (apricot vanilla cream, mascarpone, almond flakes and apricot), Millefeuille Caramel (caramel vanilla cream, almonds and almond flakes), Millefeuille Cerise Griotte (vanilla cream with cherries, mascarpone), Millefeuille Fraise, Millefeuille Noix de Pecan (bourbon vanilla cream, pecan nuts and mints), Millefeuille Pistache Framboise (pistachio cream, vanilla cream with raspberry, marscarpone and pistachios). This range is complemented by Millefeuille Vanille, the original cake recipe that is commonly found in the Paul baker's menu.
"The Millefeuille Collection is the innovation we bring to a classic French dessert, with the mix of fresh and appetizing ingredients that will delight any French pastry lover. Recipes have been specially learned by Paul's baker's masters who are popular for their cleverness and talent when it comes to French products. What distinguishes us is that at Paul, customers can now find the largest range of Millefeuille available on the market. And in order to bring in the experience of this special range, we also offer a trip to Fête des Lumières in Lyon to live the real Frech experience, " said Monica Eftimie, Chief Marketing Officer, Paul Romania.
The contest for the great French adventure runs between September 22 and November 6, 2015. For each acquisition of Millefeuille, the cashier will stick to the costumers’ receipts a sticker with a unique code that must be kept until the end of the contest. In order to participate, clients must access the Millefeuille Collection campaign on the Paul Romania Facebook page and fill in a form with personal data, also registering the code on the receipt. The winner will be awarded through a lucky draw and will be validated after presenting the tax code with the unique code attesting the acquisition of Millefeuille products during the campaign period: September 22 - November 6, 2015, in Paul bakeries in Bucharest and Ploiesti.
Millefeuille has a long story in the French tradition, and this story reinvents itself year by year. In France there are events celebrating this dessert, where the French confectioners are invited to reproduce as creatively as posible the original recipe, which is also in Paul's DNA - every day, chefs are working to reinvent recipes for all products, so customers can enjoy as many culinary experiences as possible.
